Vitally
Since joining Vitally in 2023, I have been focused with updating and evolving Vitally’s brand. The Vitally Marketing team is very small, so I have to wear many hats — from web to email to motion designer.
Vitally is a B2B software product aimed at Customer Success professionals. Being a small software company in a relatively new product space, we have spent a lot of work trying to make Vitally’s brand stand out amidst a pack of tight competitors. Shortly before I joined Vitally, the team engaged a agency to develop a new brand. After joining, I took over the initial, rough concepts of the brand developed by that agency, and have been working to slowly evolve and differentiate Vitally’s brand further.
Branding
Shortly before I joined Vitally in 2023, the agency Brass Hands was contracted by Vitally’s Marketing team to undertake a refresh of the public facing website. This rebrand included a minor refresh of Vitally’s logo. However, upon inheriting the branding, there were still a number of unanswered questions. What was the primary version of the logo? What did a full color version of the logo look like? How would motion come into play? How should color be used? Typography? Illustration? With all of these questions left unanswered, I set out to define the brand and expand the visual language.
Digital
Vitally’s core marketing asset is it’s marketing website. Since joining the team, I have been collaborating with the head of Product Marketing to slowly update and revamp all of the visuals and content across the entire website. Our goal was to better showcase the functionality of the product, create a clear visual distinction between Vitally and the competition, as well as optimize for performance (SEO and CTA clicks).
Video
To get Vitally’s customers excited about a number of smaller features that the team launched, the team opted to bundled everything together in what we branded “The Fall Launch”. This was a hype video that I designed and animated to drive awareness of the launch. I created storyboards and visuals for this animation using a mix of Figma and Adobe Illustrator and animated everything in After Effects.
